One of the hottest bands in the area, DESCENDSION generates energy and excitement everywhere they perform.
This dynamic band is comprised of some very talented musicians: Front Man & lead vocalists; James Keller, an Awesome Guitarist; Brian Davies,
a Barefoot Drummer; Geoff Tomes and a Rock'n Bassist; Tom Smith. Note: Geoff is no longer with Descendsion. Our new Drummer is Dennis Blanc. Although Dennis is not a barefooted drummer he brings an array of positive energy. His vast experience as a drummer and knowledge of music is stellar and a great fit with DESCENDSION...
Although DESCENDSION strives to be the Main Event and enjoys playing in Clubs and or Bars for younger crowds, don't be surprised if they open for a National act at a Stadium or Arena near you.
DESCENDSION specializes in all venues, large or small, experienced with and other social events. DESCENDSION will work with you well before your event date to understand your preferences and or needs. DESCENDSION can plan venues, whether they are the opener and or the headliner, they are able to provide just the right mix for your venue. However, keep in mind DESCENDSION DOES ROCK!

Descendsion's history, the original crew was James
Keller on vocals, Brian Davies on Lead Guitar, Rich Schieder on rythem
guitar, Matt Muklewicz (Makeshift Allstars) on bass and Geoff Tomes (The
Show) on drums, the band broke up 8 months after formation and
regrouped with two originals James and Geoff and joined Jerry Mull on
guitar, Jim Keyser (Stone Wicked Souls) on bass,
after a fun ride and a couple of shows later the band once again
disbanded, after a two year hiatus James Keller and Brian Davies
reunited and got together with Geoff Tomes as well as Jim Keyser to
reform Descendsion, after a few months Descendsion in a surprise turn of
events added Carly Warneke (She Devil Cinema) Descendsion started to
grow! but yet again inner turmoils arose and once again disbanded, but
now there was more determination within the group, James & Geoff
reconnected with the Original Lead Guitarist Brian Davies and the three
were on the hunt for a bass player, It didn't take long before they were
introduced to Thomas Smith Jr, " The connection was instantaneous!"
Keller said, things were finally together!!! The reemergence of
Descendsion came with a HUGE thunder as the group founded the very first
DARE TO PREVENT concert! they haven't stopped since, Descendsion has
since broke into the Pittsburgh Music Scene taking 1st place in the
Battle of the bands and became an alumni member of 107.5 the Eagle Rock
Stations show LOUD & LOCAL and has also released their first studio
album "Shades Of Existence"! near the end of 2011 Descendsion welcomed
new drummer Dennis Blanc into the mix! January 12,2012 they headlined
the Altar Bar for their cd release party and are waiting for the
upcoming show on April 16th where they will open for the band known as
TRAPT!!!! After the Trapt show Descendsion will head into Sound Scape
Studios with Doug Kasper and start the next Album, they are tossing
around ideas for the Album title whether it be a self titled cd or
they're tossing around the idea of " A WARNING"! stick around to see!!
